Anna turns 12

Anna had her friend Fallon over to help celebrate her birthday.

We have started sending up sky lanterns for special occasions.

They watched it go out of sight.

They had fun with chalk on the driveway.

Then everybody came over on Sunday to help us celebrate.

Feeding a Camel

On Saturday before Easter went to the petting zoo at the fairgrounds.

Anna had never fed a camel before, but after some encouragement she decided to give it a try.

It was a little wet but not too bad.

Or was it? That look on Anna's face says it all!

SNOWING IN APRIL

School was delayed two hours today due to cold weather and snow. We didn't get that much snow, but at one point this morning it snowed pretty good. Some of the flakes were huge. It was so pretty to watch it come down.

Anna just had to catch one of those big flakes on her tongue.

Anna's 11th Birthday

Anna was so excited about her birthday and going to Jennys, she just ran to the end of the driveway and jumped for joy!

We had another great time at Jenny and Matt's home while celebrating Anna's 11th Birthday.Jenny had the great idea of having a pajama breakfast on the morning of Anna's big day.

Linda gave Anna these American Girl clothes from Disneyworld.

Anna loved the purse that Jenny, Matt and Dylan gave her! Justin, Stephenie, Annie and Easton gave her the Littlest Pet Shop Town and a card (made by Annie). Anna really appreciated all of her gifts, cards, money (thanks PaPa) and attention given to her on her birthday.

Grant's birthday is just around the corner in May.

I really like the shirt he is wearing. He got it from the Westwood Youth Group. The shirt represents the empty tomb of Jesus and the Power of His Resurrection!
